How i pocket 6 figures a month

I know many people are wondering the “how” behind the now-six businesses that I own.

  • How the hell does she really do it?

  • How can she have lost everything and be where she is right now?

  • How does she create additional streams of income within such a short period of time?

I don’t feel like I'll be able to cover everything today, however, I will do my best to paint the picture.

You see, I have been in the game since I was 18 years old. This means that since then, I have amassed many experiences that have made me wise beyond my years in the business world.

These experiences don’t come out of nowhere; I have had skin in the game every year and I have always given more before I was ready.

At the age of 27, I was managing $60M worth of property development projects and had raised capital to deliver these residential properties.

This was not my first rodeo, I had done this before.

But how, I hear you ask?!

Honestly, it was genuinely by doing the do and for this instance, it was about drafting an IM (information memorandum) that was clear and concise about the deal and the returns - and pitching it to the right groups of people.

You see, I am not bothered by not knowing what I am doing. I am not scared of being wrong or looking like a fool.

I serially ask questions and I genuinely do not care about what others think of me in the process.

I know that the only way I am going to learn something is by being in the game. Don’t get me wrong, research is important and undertaking due diligence is key in making decisions, though I know too many who are stuck in analysis paralysis.

Allow me to break down who I am as a person to give you a full breakdown of “how do I do it all”:

MY HUMAN DESIGN

Here is the breakdown of some of my profile. This should give you a very good indication of “who” I am and “how” I am able to juggle all the balls.

Type: Generator

Signature: Satisfaction

Strategy: To Respond

Inner Authority: Emotional Solar Plexus

Definition: Split

Profile: 2 / 4 Hermit-Opportunist

Incarnation: Right Angle Cross of The Four Ways

Not-Self Theme: Frustration

Design Base Orientation: Binary

Determination: Direct

Personality Base Orientation: Focused

I became more familiar with my design back in 2019 and to be honest, it was the biggest relief of my life.

It gave me so much permission to be who I am and to embrace how I function. If you haven’t already had your chart read or understand what it’s all about, I recommend you do.

MY STRENGTHS

It took me some time to really nail down what my strengths were and what I loved to do.

Once I allowed myself to be and do what I love, everything started falling into place. It allowed my team to step into their genius and for me to focus on mine.

This is what I love doing:

  • Creating strong foundations in business (processes, systems and structure);

  • Building strategy for businesses;

  • Planning for long-term growth across the cycles;

  • Generate a bucket load of cash in order to make further investments.

MY LEADERSHIP STYLE

This has been a huge learning curve for me… HUGE.

As I am a self-starter and motivate myself to get things done; I wrongly assumed that was how others were with their time and their professional undertakings.

Boy was I wrong and did I fall on my face many times “managing” my teams in a laissez-faire manner.

These days, I have more communication, structure and accountability in place to ensure that everyone is seen and supported in the ways that work best for their profiles.

MY TEAMS

I’ve kissed a fair few frogs before finding my A-Team. Mostly because I wasn’t being 100% true to my working and leadership style.

Now that I am spending my energy and genius on the things that feel right for me, I have attracted some Queens in my team.

And let me tell you, it makes such a difference to the value of the business and what I can create and put out into the world.

I used to be a tightarse and only employ people who were cheap. In return, I was constantly frustrated and wasn’t putting out my best work because I had to “redo” the work. Of course, I see now there was some deep inner wounding around my feeling that I could be supported in the right ways.

Now my team are paid above what they deserve because it means we can all be in our zones of genius and thrive together.

MULTIPLE INCOME STREAMS

Most people wonder “how” I manage all my businesses and the truth of the matter is, I don’t.

I manage the management teams that operate these businesses. I could not be the Operations Manager for all of these businesses and run them successfully.

This is why my teams are extremely important.

My role is to work on the business; I future proof the businesses and brands. That is a crucial role and one that too many businesses don’t account for.
This is also my zone of genius and where I thrive.

WHAT WORKS

The ways that I create and manage my businesses are unique to me.

There is no right or wrong way to do things. There are principles that are key to building successful businesses and building wealth, and yet you can take the elements that work for you and amend them to suit your style and needs.

The more that I allow myself to be and do what feels right (this was a concept I understood conceptually but never really allowed myself to “get it”), the more everything feels easy.

Which is crazy because I am holding onto and creating a bigger vision than I ever have before.

MOVING FORWARD

As I am entering my 37th lap around the sun, I have less time to entertain those who feel they can woo me, whilst also giving less airtime to my people pleasing 5 year old self.

I invite you to explore where and how you can do business in a way that feels “more you” without carrying the burden of having to do it a “certain way.”

I’d love to hear how you go with this, keep me posted.
